Step by Step During Treatment
Preparation & Anesthesia
We start by documenting the starting point with photos and carefully marking the areas to be treated. We then apply gentle local anesthesia through just three very small pricks: one under the chin and one at each jaw angle. Some brief stinging may be felt, but the procedure itself involves no classic incisions.
Mini Liposuction
Through the small entry points, a mini liposuction is performed. The skin is carefully separated from the fatty tissue and unwanted fat is permanently removed. This prepares the area for optimal tightening and creates the mobility needed for the next step.
Thread Lift (Neck Lift)
Four biodegradable threads (Aptos) are inserted via the jaw angles. These capture and lift the skin under the chin into a new, firmer position. The threads actively stimulate your own collagen production, and once they naturally dissolve after about 14 months, the skin has already healed in its new, defined shape.
Finishing & Aftercare
The procedure ends with small plasters over the three entry points and a compression bandage placed around the head and neck. This should be worn around the clock for the first 3 days and then as needed. Full results develop gradually over 6 months.
